Job opening for Interior Designer / Interior Architect

JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER / JUNIOR INTERIOR ARCHITECT

Start date: Ideally immediate but we can be flexible for the right candidate with a notice period

We’re looking for an emerging interior designer or interior architect to join our small studio on a fixed-term basis.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or junior designer to gain hands-on experience across all stages of high-end residential projects.

You’ll be working closely with the studio director and wider team to help bring design schemes to life—from early concept work to installation support. We’re after someone curious, dependable, and keen to learn in a collaborative, detail-led environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Supporting the team across a mix of live and upcoming projects

  • Assisting with concept design, CAD drawings, mood boards, and presentations

  • Helping to source and coordinate finishes, fixtures, and furniture

  • Producing and maintaining FF&E schedules and supporting documents

  • Assisting with design research, supplier outreach, and site visits where needed

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE:
(essential qualities and experience)

  • A degree or diploma in interior design or interior architecture

  • Up to 2 years' experience in practice preferred, but recent graduates will be considered

  • A strong visual eye and a genuine interest in materials, detailing, and spatial flow

  • Willingness to take direction and contribute to the wider team

  • Confident using design software (Vectorworks or similar), Adobe Creative Suite, and Excel

  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Midjourney or ChatGPT a plus

  • Good communication skills and fluent written and spoken English

  • Based in London (interviews will be held in person)

THE DETAILS:

  • Start date: Ideally immediate start but we can be flexible for the right candidate with a notice period

  • Studio-based role in De Beauvoir Town, London, with the option to WFH one day a week if needed

  • Either full or part time considered

  • Core studio hours are 9:30am–6:00pm

  • We’re a small, collaborative team and welcome applicants from all backgrounds

  • Please note: we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role
