THE BATHROOM

BATH

We were asked to put our own spin on our clients master bathroom in their beautiful Bath Cottage. The brief was to create something functional, stylish & timeless.

The existing bathroom was not huge as years ago the corner room of the cottage had been partitioned off to create a small dressing room. This meant the bathroom was tucked away in the corner of the first floor, apologetic in size and pinched in functionality. We opened these two spaces back up to create a real master bathroom.

The new size afforded space for a double walk in shower area, huge bateau tub and double vanity space.

We wanted to keep and expose as much of the rooms original character as possible so we vaulted the loft space exposing all the original roof joists, exposed and fixed up the original bath stone & installed tongue & groove panelling to complete the style.

No longer somewhere to rush in and out of, this is a space you never want to leave.
